Increasing Federal Debt Limit - Go Fiscal Conservativism

The Republicans truly have left any notion of the party of fiscal conservativism. The Senate approved an $800 billion increase to raise the federal debt limit. (Let that sink in a moment - $800 billion.) This will allow the government to borrow up to $8.2 trillion. (Again, $8.2 trillion. With a "TR.") (Hmm...it must just be a coincidence that Republicans waited until after the election.)
