Now that I've gotten my REM tickets, I can focus on something extremely important as well. In four days, September 21, 2004, the original STAR WARS comes out on DVD.



I'm sure my Star Wars obsession comes with little surprise, due to the Yoda-love, but can we just say yay! My aunt asked me what I wanted as a housewarming gift and I said Star Wars on DVD, but she said that's not what she had in mind, "especially when you have three copies of it on VHS." In my defense, the first is the original box set, the second is the remastered THX set, and the third is the redigitalized one with the added scenes. So it's not like I have three of the SAME copy of it. But now, as of Tuesday, I'll have it on DVD as well. Happy days. REM and Star Wars within a week. Nothing at all that happens the rest of the year just can't compare...
